Kumi was our foundation dog with 10 Champions to his credit. He was a top ranked special (owner handled) for three consecutive years and came out of retirement to earn his Grand Championship as a veteran (beating top ranked specials in the process).
Kumi sons Ichi Ryu and Splash and his grand-daughter Rubi have gone on to be top ranked specials and GCH's as well.
Kumi had beautiful breed type and a wonderful disposition.

Splash was a bronze Grand Champion with several group placements to his credit. He was specialed on a limited basis as one of the other extended family has been out there more. He was the #10 Shiba in the country in 2012 with very limited showing. Splash spent some time in Florida and was co-owned by Cathe Harvey.
